A team from the Public Authority for the Environment, in coordination with the Ministry of the Interior, carried out an inspection campaign on the camps in the Al-Khairan area. Due to the encroachments in that area, the campaign resulted in issuing several environmental violations in accordance with Article No. 40 of the Environmental Protection Law No. 42 of 2014 and its amendments.

The Environment Public Authority also reminds camp owners of the need to adhere to the requirements and executive regulations of the Environmental Protection Law.
